Status: Still scheduled for July 21-25, 2021
One of Virginia's biggest and best music festivals, FloydFest is a five-day festival in the mountains of Floyd. Participants can camp in the trees of the Blue Ridge Mountains during the festival and enjoy live music with over 100 performers on eight stages, outdoor adventure, local vendors offering everything from artisan goods, workshops, healing arts seminars and children activities .
Red Wing Roots Music Festival
Status: Tentatively scheduled for July 9-11, 2021
The Red Wing Roots Music Festival is held in scenic Natural Chimneys Park in Mt. Solon, is a family-friendly event that combines bluegrass and folk music. Multiple stages allow a wide variety of regional and national bands to continuously play different genres throughout the festival, and there are also plenty of organized outdoor events such as bike rides, hiking, fun runs, and interactive kids' activities.
Status: Festival canceled for 2021. Rooster Walk Reunion, a three-day festival at Pop's Farm, will take place October 8-10, 2021.
The Schedule Walk Music and Arts Festival offers musical performances in a variety of genres, including bluegrass, rock, reggae, jazz, country and Americana – all in a family-friendly environment. In addition to music, explore various stalls of vendors to partake in arts and crafts.
Virginia Arts Festival
Status: Shifted to different dates in 2021.
- Virginia International Tattoooriginally scheduled for April 15-18, 2021 at the Norfolk Scope Arena, will now take place June 3-6, 2021 at Old Dominion University's Kornblau Field in S.B. Ballard Stadium.
- Williamsburg Live still scheduled for June 19, 2021.
Every year, the Virginia Arts Festival, brings & # 39; the world's greatest performers to stages in the Hampton Roads area. Hampton Jazz Festival
Status: 2021 Festival canceled; new dates June 24-26, 2022
The annual Hampton Jazz Festival attracts the best blues, soul, pop and jazz artists in the country. Every June, tens of thousands of loyal fans from all over the country gather in Hampton to take part in this three-day celebration.

Held annually in memory of young local musician Houston Caldwell, HoustonFest is a two-day Southwest Virginia festival featuring over 30 bands, with musical genres ranging from Bluegrass to Gospel. In addition to the music, skilled artisans and local vendors have workshops and sell homemade goods.
The Convention of Galax Old Fiddlers
Status: Tentatively scheduled for August 9-14, 2021
The oldest and largest violinist festival in the world, the The Convention of Galax Old Fiddlers pays homage to the region's rich culture and roots of mountain music. Since 1935, this festival has introduced musicians and bluegrass fans from all over the world to the sound that characterizes the Blue Ridge Mountains. Pharrell Williams Music and Culture Festival in Virginia Beach, Something in the water, takes place on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and features a tremendous amount of national touring artists and plenty of homegrown talent across a variety of genres, including hip-hop, R&B, rock, and many others.
Richmond Jazz and Music Festival

Staunton Music Festival
Status: Still scheduled for August 13-22, 2021

Status: The Summer Concert Season 2021 is scheduled for Saturday in June-September.
The Blue Ridge Music Center Galax features a state-of-the-art amphitheater on the Blue Ridge Parkway and hosts concerts every weekend from June to September.

The LOCKN 'Festival is a four-day music festival taking place at Infinity Downs Farm with an emphasis on music from jam bands, camping, outdoor activities, regional food, drink and artisans. Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion
Status: Still scheduled for September 10-12, 2021
A three-day festival along State Street in the center of Bristol, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion celebrates Bristol's heritage as the birthplace of country music, home to some of the most remarkable and influential music recordings ever made. During the festival, catch more than a hundred bands playing on 19 stages and filling the streets of Bristol with Americana, country, bluegrass, rock, blues and several other genres that originated in the Bristol Sessions.

The FESTY is an outdoor social distance concert series set in Chisholm Vineyards in Earlysville, less than 10 miles from downtown Charlottesville. Entry to the festival series is sold in pods for 2 people, 4 people and 6 people.
Richmond Folk Festival

Celebrating the roots, richness, and variety of American culture through music, dance, traditional crafts, and food, the Richmond Folk Festival features more than 30 performing groups on seven live music stages, along with a Virginia Folklife demonstration space, children's activities, a folk art market, regional and ethnic foods, and more. The free three-day festival is one of the largest events in Virginia.
